In celebration of Women's History Month, Charlie Soap and Kristina Keihl, the films producers, take The Cherokee Word For Water to Washington D.C. March 3rd-5th. Joining them in D.C., actress Kimberly Guerrero who plays Wilma Mankiller in the movie and actor Mo Brings Plenty who play Charlie Soap.

Sunday, March 3rd, the film will be screening to an intimate group of 50 people at Nora restaurant. Monday, March 4th there will be a reception for the film. Following the reception, The Cherokee Word For Water will be screening at the U.S. Capitol Visitor Center in the Orientation Room North at 7:00.
